Performance, 20‘, in collaboration with Judith Hopf and Nicolas Siepen
Laden Schröder Straße, Berlin, 1999
This performance stages three tableaux vivantes in a larger-than-life picture frame accompanied by a soundtrack telling the story of Chicago’s fractured anarchist movement. Switching back and forth between Chicago in 1880s and Berlin in the 1990s, Bohemian Dip ponders conflicts of political and artistic forms and subjective desires that arise in the struggles to fight social and political inequalities faced by marginalized groups.
